Token of Love and Respect to all the teachers

Teacher's day is a special day dedicated to the teachers celebrated every year on 5th September to honor the teachers and appreciate their special contributions towards education.  "A good teacher must be able to put himself in the place of those who find learning hard"  Eliphas Levi

The first Teacher's day was celebrated in India in 1962.This is the year when Sarvapalli Radha Krishnan began serving as second president of India.

To celebrate his esteemed position, his students suggested that his birthday be celebrated as "Radha Krishnan Day". However he declined this move and suggested that instead of celebrating my birthday, it would be a proud privilege if 5th September is observed as "Teacher's Day"

Dr. SarvapalliRadhakrishnan   was born in 1862 in a town called Tirutani in Andhra pradesh. His father approached him to take the role of priest, the boy was determined to join schools in Tirupati and vellore. He joined Christian college, Madras to study philosophy. He believed that the study of Indian philosophy and its interpretation in western forms would cast off imperial inferiority complex and give the country Man a new sense of esteem and prejudice.

He was very popular among the students as a professor at the presidency college in Madras and also university of Calcutta. He later served his duties as a Vice Chancellor of both Andhra university and BHU and was recognized by the Oxford University when he was called to fill out the chair of Spalding professor of Eastern Religions. In 1939,  he was elected as a Fellow of British Academy.

He became the first vice president of India in 1952 and took his role as Nation's Second president in 1962-67. He was awarded the India's highest civilian honour the "Bharat Ratna" in 1984 and British order of Merit in 1963.This great educational reformer breathed his last on April 17,1975 and till date has been nominated for Nobel Peace Prize.

According to Dr. Krishnan "teachers should be the best minds in the country".  On this day we honor our beloved teachers who for their selfless efforts towards shaping the carriers of their students and elevating the education system of India as a whole. "It is the Supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy and creative expression and knowledge"

Albert Einstein said a teacher is some one who is wise  Who cares about the students and wears no disguise    But honest and open and shares from the heart    Not just lessons from the books,  but life where you are,

A  teacher takes time to help and tutor   wth English or Math or computer. It's a teacher who is patience, even in stress  who never gives less than everything  Not that I was the perfection    But you were the perfect teacher for me!!!!!  HAPPY TEACHER'S DAY
