PM hails party win in Tripura

AGARTALA, March 4,2018 (TVN):Prime Minister Narendra Modi hailed the party's win in the Tripura Assembly election and said that the election has been won with limited resources.

Addressing  party leaders and gathering in Delhi party headquarter , Modi  said that the elected team of Tripura is the youngest team ever and some of them were even afraid of getting rejected on the basis of their age.

BJP chief Amit Shah, in a press conference, thanked the people of  Tripura for supporting the BJP and accepting Modi's vision of development.

He called the BJP's win in Tripura 'historic' and said that despite getting a majority, the party will work with all its alliance members.

Meanwhile, after its loss in the Tripura Assembly election, Left issued a statement saying that the BJP has, apart from other factors, utilised massive deployment of money and other resources to influence the elections.

If media reports are to be believed, Biplab Kumar Deb, the current state BJP president, is likely to be given the position of next chief minister of Tripura.
