Sudip felicitates doctors and nurses who saved the life of a critical patient

Agartala, Dec 2:  In a heart-warming programme on Saturday  the A team of doctors with the help of health personnel performed a critical operation and pulled out three ironbars that pierced through the body of a construction worker. And Health Minister Sudip Roy Barman quickly acknowledged such laudable achievement to encourage medical fraternity of the State.

Health minister Sudip Roy Barman hason Saturday felicitated a team of doctors, nurses and OT staff of Agartala Government Medical College (Trauma Centre) for their major success in saving life of the criticallyinjured person.

Sukur Ali, a construction worker, fell down from a multi-storied building during workand sustained severe injuries as three ironbars penetrated his body. The incident took place at Ramnagar area. He was admitted at the trauma centre of GBP hospital along with the iron bars in critical condition. According to hospital sources, it was a very difficult task for the doctors to save thelife of Sukur Ali.

However, a team of doctors, nurses and OT staff really worked hard and saved life of the injured person by conducting a successful operation on November 24 last.As per latest reports, the man is out of danger now. He is expected to get normalvery soon.

While congratulating the 17-member team on their success, the Health minister in his face book profile said, "I was always confident of the abilities of our doctors. The achievements itself speaks about the capabilities of our doctors."

For many of the doctors, such open appreciations of Health Minister Sudip RoyBarman would surely encourage all categories of health staff to perform better inthe days to come.
