‘Conspirators’ will be dealt with iron fist: Tripura CM

Agartala,May 1,2019: Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb on Tuesday  sent message to all the ‘conspirators’ who are relentlessly plotting to tarnish the image of the Government., Deb cautioned the “Black sheep” in the government along with whom CPM and Congress are trying ‘heart and soul’ to malign the image of Tripura government.

“Along with CPM and Congress, some people in the government are also involved in conspiracies hatched against the State government. Pity, conspiracy is not only against the government, they are conspiring against the people of Tripura and none of them will be spared”, Chief Minister warned.

The Chief Minister who was addressing a workers’ meeting at Matai community 30: hall also assured the workers that no route of inquiry or legal option would be left untried to book the conspirators. Referring to the recent rumor surfaced in social media regarding his family life, Deb said, “All of them who mongered rumors against me, my family and those who are protecting them will be tracked down at any cost”, he added.

“Who are these people?” he asked and added, these people are hell-bent to malign the government and the party. He termed their moves an attempt of “cowardice”. He also asked the people behind these activities to come forward and claim responsibility of their actions otherwise they would have to face the harsh future.“If you (the conspirators) have courage to accept your deeds, then come to the forefront. Say whatever you want to say openly- however, it signifies nothing if you don’t have the courage to take responsibility for what you had done or saying”, he said. Biplab Deb also added, along with being the Chief Minister, I am also the Pradesh (state) president of the party.

During LS Poll campaign, I single-handedly shouldered the responsibility campaigning for the party candidates. Without naming anyone, he said, “However, you observed some of the people, even beingin the party, did not participate in any party campaign, rather they were found to be busy in other stuff.
