Holy Cross School continues outstanding results

Agartala, May 7, 2019: Keeping parity with the preceding years Holy Cross School, Agartala continued its fantastic performance in the ISC and ICSE Boards exams of 2019 with 100% pass rate in ICSE and 96% in ISC - 2019 Board examinations.

Out of the 231 candidates, who appeared in the ICSE Examination, 132 students passed with distinction, 57 students securing above 90%, while 88 secured first division and 10 of them got second division. Meheli Poddar Secured top position in the school with 97% , while Uddipan Sinha secured the second position with 96.8% and Shraddha Majumdar  obtained third position with 96.4%.

In the ISC science Stream out of the 44 students who appeared for the examination 24 students secured distinction, with 7 of them scoring above 90%.  There were 17 first divisions and 3 second divisions. Manikarna Saha topped the school with 93.75% while  Aruneet Gan Chaudhuri secured the second position with 93% and Dipika Debbarma secured the third position with 92.75%.

In the ISC Arts Stream out of the 55 students who appeared for the examination 9 students passed with distinction, with 3 of them scoring above 90%. There were 37 students in all with first division and 5 with second division. Suranjita Ray Barman topped the school in the Arts Stream with 94.25%,Maitheli Ghosh secured second position with 92.75% and Arpan Jamatia obtained the third position with 90.5%.

The Principal and the School Management, through a press statement congratulated the students for their excellent performance in the Board Examination. “The school appreciates and acknowledges the team efforts of the staff, guardians and the students in upholding the Holy Cross Legacy of academic excellence” the statement reads.
