Govt revokes suspension order of Ajit Pratap Singh

Agartala, Nov  15,2019:  The government  has revoked the  suspension order for former SP (West) Ajit Pratap Singh.  A notification in this order  was revoked by the General Administration (Personnel and Training) department.

The general administration department of the state government through an official order issued on November 14 said that suspension , which was made by the department on October 17 last, the competent authority in exercise of the powers conferred by the All India Services (discipline and appeal) rules, 1969 has revoked the order with immediate effect.

It may be recalled here that the then SP(West) was suspended in connection of unable to arrest the main accused former PWD Minister and deputy leader of opposition Badal Chaudhury in alleged PWD scam case, who was escaped after a court rejected his anticipatory bail petition.
