Promises are made to be broken, thinks people of Dhanpur

Agartala, Nov 30, 2019: Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb is scheduled to visit Dhanpur, in Sepahijala district on Sunday ( tomorrow) to inaugurate a new school building at Machimaa.

People of Dhanpur are happy to hear the visit of Chief Minister, but they have question to ask what about the promises made especially for Dhanpur before assembly election.

In one such promise was made onDecember 28, 2017 in a election rally held at Dhanpur. The rally was addressed by BJP leaders like – Sunil Deodhar, Himanta Biswa Sharma and present Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb.

Himanta in his thunderous voice said, “ Tripura may agar BJP power aaia, main aap sabhee kaa vaada kar raha hoon, ministry baanay kay baadh eesh Dhanpur may eek college or aspataal ka shilaanyaas samaaroh hoga” ( If BJP comes to power in Tripura, within twenty days after formation of ministry, here in Dhanpur foundation stone of a college and hospital will be laid).

People of Tripura voted BJP to power removing 25 years of CPM government. Biplab Kumar Deb took oath as Chief Minister of Tripura on March 9,2018. As promised to people of Dhanpur by Himanta on March 20 foundation stone for college should have been laid.

Whereas more than 500 days passed but till date no foundation stone was laid in Dhanpur, claimed locals there.Several promises was made by BJP leaders before 2018 assembly election, most them till date remained unfulfilled, some might have been forgotten by their leaders what promises they made.
