LF nominated candidate for Charilam constituency passes away

AGARTALA, Feb 11, 2018 (TVN): Left  front nominated candidate for Charilam ( ST reserved) assembly constituency Ramendra Narayan Debbarma passed away. He was 63 and sitting MLA.

Sources in CPI(M) said he suffered cardiac arrest in morning. He was admitted in  GBP hospital and breathed his last in evening today.

Now the election for the constituency will be postponed by election commission.

The 60 seat assembly seat will held on 18 February. Now after the death of Left Front nominated candidate now polling  will be for 59 assembly seats.

Meanwhile another LF candidate Khagendra Debbarma was discharged from GB hospital. He was admitted after his health condition deteriorated during election campaign in his constituency of Krishnagar few days back.
