Govt to soon crack whip on teachers practicing private tuition

AGARTALA, March 12, 2018 (TVN): Government will  soon crack whip on government and private school teachers practicing  paid tuitions. Sources in education department said  if any teachers violates government order and  carries on with paid tuition  stern action will be taken against them.   

Besides the department have found  maximum surplus teachers are posted in West Tripura and Khowai district.  After completion of TBSE exam all surplus teachers   will be posted in schools  where there are scarcity of teachers.

Another decision likely be taken to end the  long standing problem of examiners checking answer sheets of  Madhyamik and Higher Secondary students. Sources informed the education minister will directly interact with all teachers selected as examiners and hear their grievances.

Its mentionable here that  since long time TBSE was passing the problem of examiners, as many do not appear for checking the answer sheets. Due to the shortage of examiners answer sheets are not properly checked. Ultimately student’s futures are affected. Besides the government  is planning to increase the rate given to check each answer sheet. Now it is giver Rs 1.25 for each answer sheet to examiners.
