Police arrests 35 miscreants for post poll violence

AGARTALA, March 13, 2018 (TVN):Tripura chief minister Biplab Deb who is also in charge of  home department directed the police DG to take necessary action against  miscreants responsible for deterioration of  law and order in the state.

Addressing  press meet AK Shukla DGP on Monday in police headquarter said again that  situation in the state is normal and police have started nabbing miscreants involved with violence’s

On Monday ten miscreants was arrested raising the number to thirty five. Nobody will be allowed to take law in own hand and police will increase vigil to maintain normalcy  in state, DGP said.

All SPs of eight district was directed by video conferencing to speed up of nabbing the anti – social elements. No one  be allowed to take law in one’s  own hand, Shukla said.

Speaking of two murders in outskirt of capital Agartala on Sunday, DGP said two have been arrested for alleged involve in the murder at Amtali. Both have been produced in court and sent to judicial custody. Police is investigating the murder of  women in Budhjung Nagar.
