Tripura youth arrested for making anti-Mamata remark on Facebook

Agartala, Oct 7,2018: A youth was arrested from Thakur Palli of Kulai in Dhalai district on the charge of making derogatory remarks  against chief minister Mamata Bannerjee on Facebook. The  police said that Tushar Sharma on August 14 made the remarks and on August 17 West Bengal minister Bratya Basu  registered a complain in Bidhan Nagar police station. The case number is 68/18.

On Saturday West Bengal pgolice with help of Ambassa police station arrested Tushar. After being produced in Ambassa court  West Bengal police from Bidhan Nagar police station  wanted five days transit remand. But the court sent him to judicial custody on ground of illness. He will be again produced on October 10, on that day court will decide for transit remand.
