10323: Ratan Lal Nath expresses satisfaction over SC order

Agartala, Nov 1, 2018: Education minister Ratan Lal Nath expressed satisfaction on supreme court judgment extending the service of 10,323 adhoc teachers by two years and directing the Centre to consider state’s plea for one-time relaxation in Board and University marks and teachers training within four months.

Responding to queries from the media Nath said that once the one-time relaxation was available the state would intensify the process of recruitment of teachers. 'We are terribly short of teachers and once we get the relaxation we will try to fill up all vacancies in teachers posts' said Nath.  

CPIM leader Pabitra Kar expressing satisfaction over the order said it’s a temporary relief but what after two years. The BJP have promised before election that they will take initiatives   for making their jobs secured.
