TET new guideline, angers qualified candidates

Agartala, March 11,2019: TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) qualified candidates today organized protest here at Education Department Directorate office. They fear even after qualifying TET they may not get the job due to a new directive issued  by education department of the state government.    

On September and December last, a large number of students qualified TET. As per rule all those qualified should have got job by now. However, the education department announced a new merit list will be announced jointly of those who qualified TET in the month of September and December.  

This have angered the TET qualifiers, as before exam it was not mentioned after qualifying  another  new merit list will be made.           

In TET exam of September and December 791 candidates qualified TET. But the education department in its new notification announced mentioned about recruitment of 495 teachers.

Means 300 TET qualified candidates will be left out, to express their disappointment TET qualified candidates organized the protest against the new notification.
