Voting congress means strengthening CPM : Tripura CM

Agartala, April 9,2019: Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb urged  voters of the state to exercise their franchise  wisely. Addressing a press meet in BJP party office today few hours before end of election campaigning of West Tripura parliamentary constituency, Deb said voting Congress will only strengthen CPM in the state voters should vote for the party who ended the long rule of CPM in the state.

“ Only BJP  after three years of hardship and support from people of  the state  ended the CPM rule. This trend will follow in election of two Lok Sabha seat, both BJP candidate will win decisively. If  people vote Congress they will do a great mistake” Deb said.

He said, “ In the state a tradition of  two – corner voting pattern  was going for years and hope in election of  two seats same tradition will continue, though there will be multi corner contest”.

Deb said, “he still thinks  CPM as the main opposition than Congress as they have 16 MLAs. Congress has no MLA and voting percentage in assembly election came down to 1 percent. Under this political scenario  the fight of BJP in two seats will be against CPM”
