TBSE HS (+2) exam begins; over 27 thousand candidate appears

Agartala, March 2, 2020: Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) run Higher Secondary (+2) and Madrasa Fazil(HS+2 stages)  examinations started from today across the state and the examinations for Madhyamik (secondary) and Madrasa Alim also begins from Tuesday. Both the examinations will ends on March 31st and March 21st respectively.

TBSE sources said that altogether 27,142 candidates will appear for the HS (+2) and Madrasa Fazil examinations through 60 centres and 86 examinations venues across the state.

From Madhyamik and Madrasa Alim, a total of 50,569 candidates will appear in the examinations from 77 centres and 186 examination venues, said sources in TBSE  adding that compared to last year’s appeared students, this year more candidates are appearing in the TBSE run secondary examinations.

Board president Dr Bhabatosh Saha greeted all aspirants of both examinations and hoped for the best performances. He added that proper security arrangements were made across the state for smooth conducts of the examinations. Dr Saha said TSR personnel will be deployed in front of all examination centres across Agartala and TBSE also requested the Traffic wing of police to make proper arrangements for smooth passages of aspirants on examination days. TBSE sources said that the practical examinations in physics, chemistry, biology, geography, home management and home nursing, psychology and nutrition have already been conducted in the month of January last.
