Passenger train from Agt – Delhi after 55 days

Agartala, May 13,2020: After a gap of 55 – days, passenger train from Agartala will start its journey to Delhi from May 18 ( Monday). The railway have given name to the train as special train. The special train services had already started from May 12, as earlier announced by Railway with some guidelines for passengers.

The CPRO of  North Eastern Railways, in a press release stated that, from May 18  special train will starts it journey between Agartala – Delhi route. Every Monday, the train will depart from  Agarala to  Delhi and on Wednesday, another train will leave for Agartala from Delhi. In course of journey  the train will halt at  10 stations -  Badarpur, Guwahati, Kokrajhar, NJP, Kathiwar, Baruni, Pataliputra,   Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhya and Kanpur central.

The special train ( 02501) will depart on May 18, at 7 pm evening from Agartala station and reach Delhi station on May 20 at 11.50 am morning. On the same day at 7.50 pm evening the train will depart from Delhi and reach Agartala on May 22 at 1.30 pm afternoon.  The special train is having  16 coaches – AC first class 1, AC second class 2 and AC third class 8 coaches including luggage, brake cum generator coaches 2.
